The Image 4238 is almost square in proportion. It is 590mm in height, 632mm wide and projects 198mm. The Image 4238 can be either hung on the wall using the optional spacer kit, or semi-inset. The latter option requires an opening 486mm in height, 338mm in width, and 91mm in depth. When the fire is semi-inset, an optional flue cavity box is recommended. If hung on the wall, no chimney, flue or hearth is required, though the room needs to be at least 50m3 with 100cm2 of ventilation. The Image 4238 is available for either natural gas or LPG gas.
The Image 4238 is 100% efficient, with a maximum heat output of 2.5kW. Patented catalytic technology cleans the emissions generated by the fire. The catalytic converter itself requires no cleaning, and current research estimates that it has a life span of at least 27 years. Catalytic technology not only prevents dangerous gases from being released into the air, but it also reduces common pollutants and allergens in the environment, such as cigarette smoke and odors.
The Burley Image 4238 fire has an optional remote control.
