The Flavel Finesse Gas Fireplace
The Flavel Finesse gas fireplace is an elegant hole-in-the-wall unit that fits
well with a range of decors. The frame of the fireplace is black, with a
smaller inner frame surrounding the firebox. This inner frame comes in two
finishes: brass, for a warm accent that suits more traditional environments, or
chrome, for a sleek look in contemporary rooms. The black frame with brass
accent comes with coals as the fire effect, while the black and chrome model
offers a choice of coal or pebbles for the fire effect. The firebox itself is
plain black and open-fronted.
Taller than it is wide, at 690mm by 558mm, this unit is ideal for narrower wall
spaces. The inset depth is 120mm; once installed the fireplace projects just
50mm from the wall.
The Flavel Finesse gas fireplace is versatile in terms of function as well. It
will work with almost all flues. Safety-wise, it is equipped with a flame
supervision device that will shut off the gas supply if the flame goes out, and
an Airwatch system. No air vent is required. The heat output, in the form of
radiant heat, is adjustable and ranges from 1kW to 3.3kW.
This fireplace is manually controlled. No remote is available for this unit.
