The Firestrata Electric Hole-in-the-wall Fireplace
The Firestrata electric hole-in-the-wall fireplace is a contemporary naturalist’s delight. Part of the Platonic Collection of fireplaces, the Firestrata is designed by architect Henry Harrison. Renowned for his innovative designs, Harrison is credited with moving gas and electric fireplace design into the 21st century, beyond the use of artificial logs and coals. Harrison’s designs use authentic materials and reflect his artful attention to detail.
While modern in its design and simple lines, the Firestrata offers a unique combination of elements in the glass-fronted layered fuel bed. The bottom layer consists of larger grey pebbles, on top of which is a layer of lighter and finer pebbles. The flames emerge from the top layer of stones and driftwood. The surround is available in three finishes: polished steel, brushed steel, or warmer stone effect. In all, the geological elements of the Firestrata creates the feeling of an authentic and serene beach fire in your home.
This fireplace is also an efficient source of heat, generating up to 3kW.
The FIrestrata electric fireplace can be either hung on the wall or inset. It measures 920mm in width by 770mm in height. To inset this unit requires an opening 723mm in height, 575mm in width, and 300mm in depth.
An optional remote control is available for an additional £40.
