The Superior Radium Flueless Gas Fire
Manufactured by Superior, the Radium flueless gas fire makes a stunning focal point in contemporary environments. The layered design of this hang-on-the-wall fire gives it the feeling of floating in space. The mounting layer is made of anodized aluminum and curves gently into the room. The front layer, also gently curved, floats on top of the aluminum mounting. This layer is glossy black glass, a dramatic contrast to the silver background and the flames of the fire. Thermal glass covers the fire.
The Radium flueless gas fire has a horizontal orientation. It is 690mm in height, 900mm in width, and projects 170mm at its deepest point, the center. Because it is wall-mounted, no inset or hearth is required. The Radium requires 100cm2 of venting and a room size of at least 30m3.
The Radium flueless gas fire is 100% efficient, and puts out up to 2.6kW of heat. Patented catalytic technology cleans the emissions generated by the fire. The catalytic converter itself requires no cleaning, and current research estimates that it has a life span of at least 27 years. Catalytic technology not only prevents dangerous gases from being released into the air, but it also reduces common pollutants and allergens in the environment, such as cigarette smoke and odors.
With the oxygen depletion sensor and flame failure device, the Radium also offers the best in fire safety.
